There are many ways you can support us.
Search the Internet?
You can help us every time you search the internet simply by searching through GoodSearch.com. When you list us as your selected non-profit, we will receive $0.03 for every search performed. As you may have noticed the "Ads by Google" at the bottom of each page; when our visitors click on the sponsored ads, we get $0.02 from each click. We have other creative ways to support us – watch for these in the future.
You can also support us by contributing financially.
Financial support from individuals and local groups is the mainstay of our program. These funds support our core function of serving people in need. The funds we receive from public sources and private foundations serve to enhance our core program and support new initiatives. We currently receive nearly a third of our annual revenues from individuals. Our Goal is to increase the percentage of individual giving to half over the next 12 months. Supporters help us through our Annual Appeal, year-round donations, and multi-year pledges. We are also set up to receive bequests and memorials. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, so your donations are 100% tax deductible. Of course, consult your tax advisor for details.

How is the money used?
Since the great majority of the work of our organization is done by volunteers, most of our expenses are for staff and office needs. We maintain a part-time staff of three (1.75 FTE), and pay monthly rent of $320. We are fiscally conservative, yet there are needs for basic supplies, materials, our newsletter, insurance, training, etc. For more details, please email us for a copy of our annual budget.
